About Me

I moved to the Washington DC area in 2012. Like a character in a fairytale romance, I recently married the one who got away. (I know - I didn't think it happened in real life, either.) In May of 2015, I gave birth to our son. I blog about our adventures as a family at my travel blog, Go With The Goodwins!

My three chick lit/contemporary romance books were originally published under my previous name, Jessica Strassner. Two of the books, 'Here We Go' and 'The One Who Got Away' have appeared on the Amazon bestseller list. In March 2012, my third book, 'One of the Guys' received an Honorable Mention in Sapphire Star Publishing's Month of Romance contest.

In 2015, I re-released my first three novels under my married name, Jessica Goodwin. My latest novel, Clarissa Jean Homecoming Queen, was released in 2016. 

In 2016, I also released all four of my novels in paperback!

I could eat cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love listening to music, but I can’t sing at all. I think I’m colorblind. I'm super indecisive. I’m kind of a good cook, but my husband is the better baker. If history repeats itself, I'm so going to get a T-Rex.
